Assistant Cross Country and Track & Field Coach
The Assistant Cross Country and Track & Field Coach is the assistant for both the cross country and track and field programs. This employee coaches in the fall, winter and spring season and works with cross country and track athletes.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. This coach will assist in the planning and implementation of the cross country and track program from August through May. This coach will also assist in recruiting, travel coordination, fund raising, cultivating alumni relationships and general meet management. Other duties may be assigned.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelorâ€™s degree from an accredited college/university
Four years of participation or three years of coaching at the high school or college level
Must possess a valid pole vault certification
Willingness to pursue USATF basic coaching education program
Masterâ€™s Degree from an accredited college/university
Three years of college coaching experience
USATF Level 1 Graduate
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, and/or ABILITIES
This coach must have a functional grasp of the pole vault and jumps as well as general track and cross country concepts.
