Adjunct - Composition

Husson University has several openings for Fall Semester, 2014 for adjunct composition instructors at our Bangor campus to teach one or more writing sections of the following courses: EH 123 (Rhetoric and Composition I); EH 124 (Rhetoric and Composition II); and EH 200 (Approaches to Literature). A Master’s degree from an accredited institution in English, Rhetoric, Writing Studies, Linguistics or a related field is required, as well as previous experience teaching college composition. Interested applicants should submit a cover letter detailing your experience and qualifications, a CV or résumé and two letters of recommendation via email only to: Dr. Russell Arent (, Composition Coordinator. Please indicate which courses and times (see below) you would be available to teach, as well as the number of total sections. Only applicants selected for an interview will be contacted. The review of applications will begin immediately and continue until April 11, 2014.

The following writing sections are unassigned at the time of posting (subject to change):

EH 123
MWF: 9-9:50am 11-11:50, 12-12:50, 1-1:50, 2-2:50pm;
MW: 3-4:15, 4:30-5:45pm;
TR 11-12:15, 2-3:15, 3:30-4:45pm.

EH 124
MWF: 12-12:50pm;
T: 5-7:30pm
TR: 12:30-1:45pm.

EH 200
MWF: 2-2:50pm;
MW: 5-6:15pm;
W: 7-9:40pm;
TR: 8-9:15am.
