Most Husson students declare their
intended major when applying for admission to the University. Students
may, however, choose to defer their declaration of a major until the
end of the first year of study. For those students, Husson
provides a basic first-year curriculum composed of general education
and foundation courses. The student develops a schedule in conjunction
with an academic advisor from Academic Services.
Subsequent approval of first-year courses for transfer into a degree
program rests with the School or academic department offering the
degree.
