President of Bangor Savings Bank to Deliver Keynote Address at Husson University – Southern Maine Commencement

BANGOR, MAINE - Bangor Savings Bank President and CEO Robert Montgomery-Rice will be delivering the keynote address at Husson University – Southern Maine’s Commencement Exercise at Woodfords Congregational Church in Portland, Maine on Saturday, May 16, 2015 at 11 a.m.

More Information About Robert Montgomery-Rice 

Montgomery-Rice is from Hampden, Maine. He began his career working at both large financial services companies and in community banking. Organizations where he held senior and executive roles include BankBoston, Cambridgeport Bank and Fidelity Investments. 

He joined Bangor Savings Bank in 2004. Prior to his current position, he served in a variety of executive leadership roles at Bangor Savings Bank including chief operating officer. He also has experience supervising the financial institution’s consumer banking, information technology, human resources, real estate management, and operations departments.

In 2015, Montgomery-Rice became the President and CEO of Bangor Savings Bank. That same year he joined the Board of Trustees of Bangor Bancorp, MHC.

Commencement 2015

More than 60 individuals will be receiving their degrees as part of this celebration of educational achievements. This year, the Husson University – Southern Maine Commencement Exercises will take place at Woodfords Congregational Church at 202 Woodford Street in Portland, Maine. The ceremony begins at 11 a.m. and takes approximately 90 minutes to complete. 
Guests are encouraged to arrive early to avoid traffic congestion and obtain choice seating. Tickets are not required. Those who arrive first, get to choose their seats first.
