Then SEE, Husson University’s Summer English Enrichment program, is for you!

Build your English skills from novice to expert by

  • practicing English 20 hours per week in interactive lessons that are both challenging and fun
  • taking your English skills into the community to practice conversations and interactions with native speakers
  • enjoying afternoon trips to cultural destinations like farmers’ markets and historic forts
  • experiencing local culture during whole or half-day trips to popular tourist areas like Acadia National Park on the beautiful coast of Maine
  • participating in “theme nights” like Hawaiian or Western night that get you into the spirit of American culture
  • exploring Bangor and joining your class mates driving go-karts, roller-skating, or trying Maine’s most famous delicacy, lobster!
  • choosing an optional weekend travel destination on your own to an exciting American city such as Boston or New York
  • making great new friendships that will last a life time!

About the program

FOUR WEEK PROGRAM FEE $3,990 USD (July 1st - July 29th)

The program fee includes the following

■ Transportation from Bangor International Airport to Husson on arrival day, and from Husson to the airport on the departure day(s).

■ Transportation to and from all program activities and free Bangor city bus transportation.

■ Housing in modern, air-conditioned residence halls complete with bed linens, wi-fi, microwaves, and mini-fridges.

■ English classes and classroom materials, certificate of achievement

■ All meals in the Dickerman Dining Center

■ Selected trips, restaurant meals, and enrichment activities, including campus theme nights, use of campus fitness center, gym, and pool.


The program fee does not include

■ Airfare and other travel expenses to and from Bangor International Airport or Concord Coach Lines bus station.

■ Spending money for personal supplies, souvenirs, or other optional activities.

■ Costs for individual travel during the optional travel weekend.

Because the SEE program is designed to provide individual support, participation is limited to 30 students per session. 

Registration by June 1, 2017 will ensure your spot.

FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE

A reduced tuition fee will be awarded to students who apply early. 

Registration before April 1st: $500 tuition fee discount

Registration before May 1st: $200 tuition fee discount

In order for the program to run, a minimum of 18 students need to be registered by June 1st.
