Biography

I received a Bachelor of Arts and Science with a major in Anthropology, a Master of Physical Therapy and a PhD in Biomechanics and Movement Science from the University of Delaware. Following completion of a post-doctoral fellowship at the University of Maryland, Baltimore I taught for 3 years in the physical therapy program at East Carolina University as an assistant professor before joining Husson University. I am interested in the effects of electrical stimulation parameters on muscle performance as well as the effects of chronic disease on muscle and how exercise interventions can address impairments in populations with chronic diseases.
