Allen, Travis, MEd, CAS

Biography

Travis completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Maine at Presque Isle, and both a Masters of Education and a C.A.S. in Higher Education at the University of Maine. During his sixteen years of service in the field of education, Travis has served in many capacities; including experiences in public education, charter schools, and within higher education. Some of Travis’ experiences that are more recent include serving as the Director of Adult Education for Hermon, ME., as a Data Analyst for the University of Maine, and as a Departmental Chair for Sterns High School. Travis has also enjoyed many opportunities to work with unique populations, including adolescents with aggression, adolescents with addiction difficulties, adult learners, and students with autism. Travis has a keen interest in student success, and continues to serve the Husson community as the Director of Assessment.

I am truly happy to be able to teach what I love to those who share my passion for education. I recognize the importance of preparing the next generation of educators for the demands that will be placed on them, and I hope that each student will both value, and remember with fondness, their time at Husson University.
