Mission
The primary mission of the Husson Counseling Services Center (HCS) is to assist students in their pursuit of success. In order to do this, counselors help students use their strengths and resources to overcome barriers and to develop new strategies to improve mood, relationships and performance.

Access
The counseling center is located in Peabody Hall room 214. There is a counselor available from 9:00 to 4:00 pm five days a week. We have extended hours on Tuesday nights when there is a counselor available until 6:00 pm.
If you want to schedule an appointment, you can call 207-941-7981 or simply stop by. Walk in hours are available. If you come into the center and all the doors are closed, you can leave your name and contact information in the locked box on wall next to Joshua Lawrence's office, or leave a note under any of the doors. Often times you are able to be seen that same day or have an appointment scheduled for that week. We do not have a waiting list.
Accommodations can be made if you need an earlier or later appointment. Just let one of the counselors know.
