Eastern Maine Community College AAS programs in Automotive Technology, Building Construction Technology, Heavy Equipment Technology, Electronics Technology, Machine Tool Technology, and Welding Technology are consistent with the following curriculum plan: 1. Minimum of 12 credit hours in general education including composition, speech, psychology, and history. 2. Minimum of 3 credit hours in Algebra. 3. Minimum of 3 credit hours in science. 4. Minimum of 3 credit hours in Introduction to Microcomputing. 5. Exposure to computing or computing applications. Courses that meet this requirement include Mi and At. 6. Up to 36 credits of technical/professional courses. A student who has completed one or more of the Husson requirements during the associate program will select substitutes from any of the following: risk management, one science and humanities elective, or any upper division business related elective.
