Paulette Ferland has been employed with the University of Maine for 15 years and with ARMY ROTC for ten of those years. My history began with the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders as a Secretary in a twenty-hour position. Desiring a full-time position, I accepted the job as Administrative Assistant in the Department of Modern Languages and Classics and worked there for three years. In May 2003, I began working in the Department of Military Science and Leadership.
To list some of my accomplishments: In 2008, I was voted Most Outstanding Employee of the Year for the entire University System.
In May 2012, I proudly walked across the stage to receive my Bachelor of Science in Child Development and Family Relations.
In August 2012, I was chosen to be published in the Family Journal for my Capstone work entitled “Exploring the Long-term Impact of Female Infertility: A Qualitative Analysis of Interviews with Post-menopausal Women Who Remained Childless.”
My interests include Creative Writing, American Sign Language, and Cross Country Skiing.
I am happy to work alongside of those who proudly serve our Country. My intent is to support, edify, assist, and encourage our cadets and the entire Cadre Team.
I am proud of be part of a winning team!
