Husson University’s Institute for Continuing Health Education Announces Saturday Skills Program

Husson University’s Institute for Continuing Health Education (HI-CHEP) is pleased to announce the Saturday Skills Program. The first session will be entitled “Chest Pain: Advanced Assessment and Management Skills” and will be held September 15th from 8:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Richard E. Dyke Center for Family Business, 1 College Circle, Bangor, Maine.

HI-CHEP invites Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants, Pharmacists, Registered Nurses, EMTs, and Emergency Department staff working with patients whose primary reason for seeking healthcare involves chest pain. The speakers include Chrystal Adams, MSN, FNP-BC, John Raymond, MS, PA-C, MHP, and Daniel Moellentin, PharmD, BCPS.

The goal of the Saturday Skills Program is to expand and enhance knowledge, skills and competencies of the healthcare professional regarding the systematic evaluation of physical assessment with an emphasis on interpretation of identified findings, both normal and abnormal. Participants will practice assessment skills in each session of the workshop.

The fee for the conference is $75 per individual participant. A group rate of $60 per participant is available for organizations sending three or more. The registration fee includes materials, light refreshments, and a certificate of attendance.
