Bangor Ballet invites you to join us for our annual Evening at the Arts, with this year's them of "Cross Pollination". The event takes place at the Gracie Theatre at Husson University. Former Bangor Ballet dancer Riley Watts of Glenburn, currently dancing with the Forsythe Ballet in Germany, will talk about his experiences and perform an improvisation. Former dancer Katrina Smedal of Brooksville, currently teaching for Portland Ballet, has created a short ballet 'Winter" that will be performed. The program will include other choreography by artistic director Ivy Clear-Forrest and company member Maya Bryan and a contemporary piece with original music by Heinrick Snyder, choreographed by Cassie Pillsbury and the dancers.
Performance is at 5:00pm and will be followed by a cash bar reception in the Darling Atrium with music for dancing provided by Brian Nadeau and the Queen City Big Band.
