Faculty - Pharmacy

Dr. Sara Tippet joined the staff at Husson University in August of 2011. She graduated with a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Ferris State University in Big Rapids, Michigan. She then went on to complete a general practice residency within the Veteran’s Affairs health care system. While on residency, she worked with students from a variety of pharmacy schools who were completing rotations in the hospital. She also had the opportunity to spend time in the classroom as part of the teaching certificate program at Concordia University Wisconsin School of Pharmacy.

Sara is joined in Maine by her husband. They enjoy exploring the multitude of outdoor activities Maine has to offer. Sara also enjoys reading in her spare time and spending time with her family back in Michigan.

Learning is a continuous process that may start in the classroom but must be applied and expanded upon in practice. I hope to instill in my students the skills necessary to facilitate their own learning so that they can develop their individual practice style and advance pharmacy throughout Maine after graduation.
