The Academy of Student Pharmacists is holding their “Annual Spaghetti Feed and Auction” at 6 pm, Saturday, February 22nd at the Bangor Elks Lodge. This event is open to students, staff, faculty and immediate family members of the Husson community. The purpose of this event is to raise funds for a local charity (Relay-for-Life), community patient care projects (Generation Rx, Operation Diabetes, Operation Hear, Operation Immunization, Operation Self-Care) and to offset expenses associated with sending chapter representatives to regional and national meetings. Husson pharmacy students have been elected to regional office and served on national standing committees and send one chapter member to the National Patient Counseling Competition each year.
Students, faculty and staff may purchase tickets ($7 single, $10 couple, and $20 for a family of four) for the dinner. There is both a silent and live auction that will be held as part of this event that has many great items up for bid.
Tickets will go on sale on February 10th outside Peabody 333G. Tickets will not be available for purchase at the door as there will be a cash bar, so please reserve or purchase your tickets ahead of time. For additional information please contact Eric Jarvi, x1071.
