Dean Rodney Larson presents at West Virginia Department of Health & Human Resources Integrated Behavioral Health Conference

On September 17, Deans Rodney Larson and Kevin Yingling (Founding Dean at Marshall University 2013 International Pharmaceutical Federation (FIP) World School of Pharmacy) presented at the West Virginia Department of Health & Human Resources Integrated Behavioral Health Conference held in Charleston, West Virginia. The title of their talk was, “Education and Best Practices in Medication Prescribing: The Role of Pharmacy Education in Stemming the Tide of Prescription Drug Addiction.” After the talk, Dean Larson was presented with the Annual International Symposium on Safe Medicine Railroad Spike Award for his contributions to its mission of ensuring the safe use and disposal of medications.
