Katey Howland received her Bachelor’s Degree in Health Sciences from University of New England in 2000, and her Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from the University of New England in 2001. She specializes in acute care occupational therapy and has worked in both small and large medical centers both in Maine and New Hampshire. Katey has worked with students for the past 13 years in the clinical setting as an educator, and is passionate about hands on learning. She joined Husson University in summer of 2014 as Academic Fieldwork Coordinator and Assistant Professor. Katey is happy to return to Maine where she grew up and lives with her husband and 2 children.
Hubbard, Christine C., O.T.D., B.S., M.A.
Assistant Professor, School of Occupational Therapy
Dr. Hubbard has been an occupational therapist for almost 30 years in Massachusetts and Maine. She has worked primarily in pediatrics and mental health. She has held an academic position since 1998, and joined Husson University School of Occupational Therapy in the fall of 2006. Dr. Hubbard received her BS degree from the Boston School of Occupational Therapy, Tufts University in 1986. She obtained an advanced masters degree, an MA, also from Tufts University and completed her Occupational Therapy Doctorate, an OTD, from Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions in 2011. In addition to teaching, she has worked as a staff occupational therapist in a variety of school-based settings.
I joined the faculty at Husson because I have found it to be an exciting and dynamic environment where students and faculty learn and develop together.
