Students walking on campus at Husson University

Sport Management Professional Development Association

The Sport Management Professional Development Association is an approved organization of students interested in pursuing careers in the sport industry. Its purpose is to unify sport management majors; to assist students in career planning and development; and to create experiential learning opportunities that allow students to apply their knowledge in real-world settings. Students organize field trips to tour sport facilities, meet with various sport managers, explore internship opportunities, and attend sports events. On campus, the SM-PDA works closely with the Husson University Athletics Department on marketing initiatives designed to improve student attendance at home events. All students within the Sport Management program are considered members.
