Discover a range of exciting career possibilities and amazing opportunities at Husson University's School of Hospitality, Sport and Tourism Management. Part of the College of Business, this school offers you a hands-on and in-depth educational experience.

Depending on your area of interest and what program you choose to enroll in, you'll delve into what it takes to succeed in tourism and hospitality industry careers or keep up with the latest sport industry trends and see what it takes to succeed in that field. Most importantly, you will have opportunities to put everything you've learned to the test in unique, hands-on experiential learning opportunities. Husson students have interned all across the state of Maine and beyond, including with Cross Insurance Center, Jacksonville Jaguars, Maine Tourism Association, Nonantum Resort, Samoset Resort and Spa, Tough Mudder of Scotland, Walt Disney World and White Mountain Country Club.

In small classes, taught by a passionate faculty with extensive experience in their areas of expertise, you'll discover how the hospitality, sport and tourism industries are evolving through the use of technology to better meet changing customer needs. Hospitality and Tourism Management

Instead, as you work to earn your Bachelor of Science in Hospitality and Tourism Management degree, you will experience a comprehensive, in-depth immersion into this vibrant industry. Whether you're taking a tourism management course or utilizing cutting-edge technology from Husson's iEX Center to virtually train in a restaurant or hotel simulation, you’ll learn from experienced faculty as you gain a solid understanding of fundamental practices and processes as they are applied in this industry. Coupled with meaningful opportunities for real-world projects and internships, this program will prepare you for a long and rewarding career in hospitality and tourism.

Sport Management

Earn your sport management degree in a program that does more than just put you in the game, but immerses you in the business and industry that powers it as well. In the Bachelor of Science in Sport Management program, you’ll gain the skills and experiences needed for success in the sport business profession. Through a blending of sport and business administration courses, you’ll focus on the business of sport and gain experience through real-world assignments in class and through two required internships with a sports organization.

Accelerated Programs

Looking to jumpstart your career? Husson's College of Business offers accelerated programs for select degrees that will allow you to graduate faster! You can earn your Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in just three years, or earn your BS plus your Master of Business Administration (MBA) in as little as four years.
