Husson University invites applicants for the position of Director of the Husson Institute for Continuing Health Education Programs (HI-CHEP).
The Director is responsible for the planning and implantation of all programs offered through HI-CHEP. Duties include course coordination, which includes needs assessment, hiring of instructors, overseeing preparation of registration materials and the registration process, overseeing onsite course preparations, coordinating schedules, budget analysis, review of evaluations, and continuing education processing for a variety of healthcare professions. The Director may be required to supervise administrative assistants and/or student workers.
Qualifications: A Bachelor’s degree in adult education, healthcare administration, management leadership, or a healthcare field is preferred.
Experience: Demonstrated experience as continuing education program planner and/or event coordinator is preferred.
Educational, adult learning, training and development, management, and/or healthcare experience.
Special Skills: Exceptional interpersonal relations and communication skills. Ability to work with University and off-campus constituencies. Long-range planning. Organizational, financial and fund-raising competencies.
