Husson University invites applications for a Director of Assessment. The University seeks a qualified individual to promote educational outcomes assessment in achieving the strategic objective of Educational Excellence. Given the University’s mission of inspiring and preparing students for professional careers in current and emerging fields, the successful candidate will need to be responsive to current needs resulting from regional and specialized accreditation with an experience in facilitating responses to assessment that advance creativity and effectiveness. Reporting to the Provost, the Director of Assessment will be expected to participate in a collaborative undertaking that engages all disciplines with the College of Business, College of Health and Education, the School of Pharmacy, and the School of Science and Humanities as well as the office of Institutional Research.
Qualifications: The successful candidate will hold a Master’s or CAS; a Doctoral degree is preferred with qualifications to teach in at least one course per semester in the School of Education. Demonstrable leadership experience in assessment is a must as well as experience in program evaluation. Candidates should be able to present evidence of successful teaching, organizational skills, scholarly writing, research efforts, and communication abilities.
