Writing Center

The Writing Center is geared towards all things writing: composition, the creative process, grammar, style, perhaps even laying the groundwork for your "magnum opus". With help in evaluating your papers before they have to be submitted, you'll get the feedback you need and, quite probably, a better grade. Plus, it's just a neat place to hang out.

The Writing Center is a resource you should use to help you improve your writing. The writing consultants the center employs can help you invent, organize, and revise your documents to meet the specific requirements established during class. Take the time to become familiar with this resource and use it regularly.

Informational Workshops
Throughout the term, the Writing Center will be conducting informational workshops, such as how to use APA citation format. Information regarding these workshops will be posted outside the Writing Center.

Online Writing Center
The Writing Center provides online writing consultations for students enrolled at a satellite campus or in an online course. However, whenever possible, please visit the Writing Center to set up face-to-face conference (Peabody 210, Bangor Campus).

The Husson University Writing Center offers Husson students assistance in composing, revising, and formatting documents, including essays, resumes, cover letters, speeches, and creative writing. Writing Center consultants are fellow Husson students here to support peers through the writing process and help them improve their writing skills. Husson University students are encouraged to take advantage of this free resource. When scheduling an appointment, please keep in mind the following:
