To aid in assessment activities for your course, program or department we have developed some short informational tutorials. In addition, the University Assessment Committee is available to help you at any point as you assess your course, program and/or department.

Mission Statement

To provide guidance in assessment to all faculty and staff at Husson University and to support and carry out the University Assessment Plan in a way that fosters creativity and effectiveness and helps faculty and administration learn from data and make data informed decisions on strategies for improvement.

Will carry out this mission by:

1. supporting the efforts of all faculty and staff;
2. becoming more efficient at assessment;
3. upholding the assessment timeline;
4. reviewing assessment reports and provide feedback;
5. providing educational seminars, tutorials on assessment

The purpose of this continuous cycle of assessment activity is to improve student learning and development, program curricula and faculty development.
