School of Law
To educate and develop competent, ethical legal practitioners
Welcome to Husson University Law School
Our Mission
To educate and develop competent, ethical legal practitioners.
VIDEO: Michael Mullane, Dean, Husson University Law School
Our Goals
- Drawing
upon the principles of traditional legal education to provide both a
solid grounding in the core doctrines of the law and the ability to
engage in objective legal analysis, and
- Using integrated
simulations and experiential learning to provide training in all
essential lawyering skills, and to develop entry level competency in at
least two areas of practice commonly engaged in by new lawyers;
- Work
with the bench and bar to insure that its educational program meets the
needs of the legal profession and of entry level lawyers; and
- Cultivate
an appreciation of the legal profession that maximizes the sense of
personal well being and career satisfaction as law students and lawyers. VIDEO: Marie Hansen, Associate Dean, Husson Division of Legal Studies

through required doctrinal and lawyering skills courses, and a
simulation-based workshop focused on the specific area of practice and
the clinic and extern experience
