University is conducting a national search for Dean for the School of Health Sciences. This website is intended to assist those of you who wish
to apply.
Founded
in 1898, Husson University today includes the Schools of Business;
Education; Health; Science and Humanities; a proposed School of Law and
an emerging School of Pharmacy, as well as a separately accredited
professional technology program, The New England School of
Communications (NESCom), and an Extended Learning Division offering
graduate and undergraduate degrees at five different locations. Husson
offers associate, baccalaureate, masters and professional doctoral
degrees that lead to licensure and careers in a variety of fields. The
University is comprised of a comprehensive, residential 200-acre campus
in Bangor, Maine, a 700-acre forest, and off-campus satellite education
centers in Presque Isle, Calais, Portland and Eastport, Maine. The
Bangor Theological Seminary and the Bangor Symphony Orchestra are
independent entities located on the Bangor campus.
Since its founding, Husson's mission has been two-fold:
to prepare prospective graduates for successful professional careers,
and, through a personalized collegiate experience, to promote a strong
sense of self-worth in every student. Husson is an ideal school for
those who want the intimacy only a small college can provide along with
the professional preparation offered by a university.
